'Dogs race past Pioneers

The Fresno State men's basketball team picked up its first exhibition win of the season Monday night with a 99-56 rout of Pacific Union College.

Bryson Williams led six Bulldogs in double figures, scoring 19 points and hauling-down 11 rebounds for a double-double. Fresno State broke the game open with a 25-6 scoring blitz midway through the first half.

Johnny McWilliams scored 16 points for Fresno State while Ray Bowles, Nate Grimes, Jaron Hopkins and Deshon Taylor added 12 apiece.

The Bulldogs conclude their exhibition schedule Friday night when they host UC Merced at the Save Mart Center.
