Coach Tedford hopes Bulldog fans will represent in Vegas

This will be a big game for the Bulldogs because it's a chance to play a PAC 12 foe, and earn a 12th win, which would be the first time in program history.

Fresno State Head Coach Jeff Tedford is hopeful Bulldog fans will travel to Las Vegas in two weeks.

"I think the Red Wave is going to show up in big numbers," said Tedford.

FOX26 Sports reporter Nick King talked to Coach Tedford about the Mountain West Champion Bulldogs going to the Las Vegas Bowl to take on Arizona State.

The game is on Saturday, December 15th, which is the first day of bowl games, so it's a quick turnaround for the 'Dogs.

This will be a big game for the Bulldogs because it's a chance to play a PAC 12 foe, and earn a 12th win, which would be the first time in program history.

This will be Fresno State's third trip to the Vegas Bowl, previously losing to Utah in 1999, and to USC in 2013.

But Jeff Tedford is 1-0 in the Vegas Bowl, leading Cal to a win over BYU in 2005.

After the Mountain West Championship win in Boise, the Bulldogs moved up in all three major polls.

The 'Dogs are No. 21 in the College Football Playoff Rankings, No. 19 in the AP Poll, and No. 21 in the Coaches Poll.

The Arizona State Sun Devils have a season record of 7-5 and have not been ranked since week three.
