Foxes fall in franchise debut

The Fresno Football Club lost the first soccer game in the history of the franchise, falling to Las Vegas Saturday night, 3-2.

The visiting Lights are also a new USL team, and they jumped out to a 3-0 lead at Chukchansi Park.

The Foxes got their very first goal in the 73rd minute when Jemal Johnson found the net with a left-footed blast.

Then in the 90th minute, it was former Fresno Fuego player Renato Bustamante with a rebound goal to wrap up the scoring.

The Foxes will host the Los Angeles Galaxy 2 next Saturday night.
