Monday, January 29, 2018 - A Tulare County woman says her therapy dog was stolen from her truck over the weekend while she was inside a "Costco" store in Visalia.

Amy Martin says made a trip to the store with her dog's Peanut and Petunia. Martin says she cracked a window in her truck and left the dogs waiting. Martinez says she was in and out.

"I noticed that Peanut was there and she was missing,” said Martin.

Martin is now doing anything to get her back. She has requested nearby store surveillance video and posted missing flyers. Martin says she needs the comfort of Petunia as he deals with a medical condition.

“She is constantly next to me on days when I am not feeling well. When I am in pain she is in bed with me,” said Martin.

The searches for Petunia continues and Martin is asking for anyone with information on her whereabouts to contact her.

There is a reward for Petunia’s return. Petunia is a white French Bulldog with a small brown mark on her ears, weighing 30lbs. She is spayed, meaning she can’t be breed. Martin says she will take her back no questions asked.
