Woman battling cancer gets dream wedding

Christina and Mark Garcia were married Saturday. Christina is battling stage four Ovarian cancer and feared she wouldn't be able to afford a wedding ceremony. Volunteers organized her wedding-- complete with a honeymoon!

A Fresno couple is now celebrating wedded bliss thanks to the help of a generous community.

Christina Garcia is battling stage four ovarian cancer.

The mother of four feared she wouldn't get to experience her dream wedding -- with her sons by her side.

But after getting in contact with the group, "The Face of Cancer," people jumped to action to make her dream a reality.

The local nonprofit organized donations from photographers, hairstylists, makeup artists, and even tuxedos.

Garcia credits the organization with motivating her every day.

"Not lying in bed, depressed. You have to have a positive outlook. Can't get down, think bad about anything," she says.

"There's times she's really sick and she's ready to give up," says her husband, Mark Garcia. "I tell her don't stop, don't give up. Keep on fighting -- we're gonna get through it! We're here today and we got married. It's a big step. We were sure we were gonna reach this point--and we have. I'm thankful for that."

The couple says it would never be able to afford a wedding because of the expenses related to Garcia's cancer battle.

    Even a honeymoon was donated.

The couple will be headed to Lake Tahoe.
