What to expect for Grizzly Fest 2018

The stage is set for Grizzly Fest 2018.

For years, "Grizzly Fest" has been held at Chukchansi Park in Downtown Fresno. Now, Northeast Fresno is prepping for the big event.

This year the two-day music festival will take place at Woodward Park.

Gates open at 2:00 P.M. both Friday and Saturday, and music kicks off at 3:00 P.M.

This year there will be three different areas you can listen to live music; 51 Fifty Grizzly Grove, The Sequoia Stage, and The Yosemite Stage.

Because of the event's new venue, Fresno City Council had to make some music accommodations.

The festival will wrap up each night at midnight, and if music goes past 11:30 P.M., there will be some hefty fines for the company putting on the festival.

For every minute music is played between 11:30 P.M. - 11:40 P.M. it will cost $1000.00.

For every minute music is played between 11: 40 P.M. - midnight, it will cost $10,000.00.

For every minute music is played after midnight, it will cost $100,000.00.

Event organizers have also released a list of the things festival-goers are NOT allowed to bring in.

That list includes things like hard coolers, umbrellas, drones, selfie-sticks, video/audio recorders, etc.
