VISALIA, Cali. (FOX26) — Detectives with the Tulare County Sheriff's Office, working with the Tulare County DA's Office, Visalia PD, the Tulare County Human Trafficking Task Force and Madera County Sheriff’s Office, conducted two undercover operations on Saturday.
Detectives set up fake advertisements on the dark web searching for potential human trafficking victims.
Nearly 40 men contacted the decoy.
Those arrested and charged with soliciting the undercover prostitutes were Rodridgo Baez Solis of Porterville, Joan Ramos of Porterville and Christopher Rodarte of Visalia.
It was later confirmed that Rodarte is a doctor in Visalia.
Also arrested in the sting was Francisco Cruz Raygoza of Visalia, who was charged with pimping.
Detectives also tried to find and rescue human trafficking victims on the dark web.
Detectives were able to rescue two women, one of which was believed to be a victim who, through force, fear and/or coercion, was trafficked for sex.
Tulare County Family Services is providing help for the two women.
This investigation is ongoing.
