    One day each year is designated on the calendar for special recognition of our military veterans. However, we want all who have served - and the families that have shared in the sacrifices - to know that we are thankful for their service each and every day.

    Fresno Veterans Day Parade will take place on Monday, November 12th in downtown Fresno. Dignitaries and presentations begin at 10:15 a.m. in front of Fresno City Hall, followed by opening ceremonies at 11:00 a.m. with the parade beginning at 11:11 a.m.

    Clovis Veterans Day Events at the Clovis Veterans Memorial District 7-11:00 a.m. Pancake Breakfast open to the public at VFW Post 3225, Independence Room. 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. there is a car show, kids activities, booths and live music at the Last Chance Saloon on 4th st. Veterans Parkway & West Side Park. Also a Veterans photo exhibit and documentaries in the Veterans Room and Auditorium. 11:00 a.m. Patriotic Concert performed by the Clovis Community Band, Liberty Ballroom. 6:00 p.m. Veterans Day Dinner and Program, Liberty Ballroom.

    Chowchilla Veterans Commemoration Ceremony November 11, 11 a.m.- 12:30 p.m. Veterans Memorial Park, 600 W. Robertson Blvd. to pay tribute to the men and women that have given their service to our country. The public is encouraged to attend. The event is co-sponsored by Veterans of Foreign Wars & VFW Ladies Auxiliary and American Legion. Refreshments are provided by Soroptimist International of Chowchilla.

    Lemoore Veterans Parade November 11th 6:00 p.m. The Parade route is on D Street between Follett Street and Hill Street. Hosted by the American Legion Post 100. Entrants sign-up at the Lemoore Parks & Recreation Department located on 721 W. Cinnamon Dr. Click here for more information.

    Hanford 7th Annual Veterans Festival 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Hanford Civic Center Park. Free admission. Car Show, Bands, Vendors, Food & High School Drill Teams.

    Applebee’s invites all veterans and active-duty military to enjoy a complimentary full-size entree from an exclusive menu, which includes eight different choices.

    Buffalo Wild Wings “Wings for Heroes” means you’ll receive one small order of wings with a side of fries.

    California Pizza Kitchen is offering a free entrée to veterans and active military with valid military ID or in uniform on Nov. 11. Vets may choose from six pizzas, four salads or three pastas. Click here for details.

    Denny's will honor the nation’s servicemen and women with a FREE Build Your Own Grand Slam, which includes a choice of four delicious breakfast items such as two fluffy buttermilk pancakes, two eggs or egg whites cooked to order, two sizzling bacon or turkey bacon strips, buttermilk biscuits or hash browns, from 5 a.m. to noon on Monday, November 12th.

    Famous Dave’s will give a free 2 Meat Combo with one side item and corn bread muffin.

    Hooters welcomes all active-duty and retired military to stop in for a free meal this Veterans Day as a “thank you” for their service. On Sunday, November 11, all veterans who present a military ID or proof of service and purchase a beverage at any participating Hooters location nationwide will receive a free entrée from the Hooters Veterans Day Menu (available for dine-in only). Menu includes six entrées including: Wings, Hooters Burger, Buffalo Chicken Salad, Buffalo Chicken Sandwich.

    IHOP will server free red, white, and blue pancakes with blueberries, strawberries, and whipped cream.

    Krispy Creme will give Military and Veterans a 1 free doughnut and small coffee on Veterans Day.

    Little Caesars Pizza will give all veterans a free pizza or $5 HOT-N-READY Lunch Combo on Veterans Day.

    Outback Steakhouse “Military Mates” and their families can get a free Bloomin' Onion and drink.

    Red Lobster will offer a free appetizer or dessert to veterans, active-duty military and reservists with a valid military ID on Nov. 11 and 12. There are six appetizers and five desserts to choose from.

    Red Robin is offering all veterans and active duty military members a FREE Red’s Tavern Double burger with Bottomless Steak Fries on Veterans Day, Sunday November 11th at participating locations. Click here for more information.

    TGI Fridays get a free lunch menu item up to $12 from 11 a.–2 p.m. Guests will also receive a $5 coupon for their next meal at Fridays. Offer for dine-in only.

    Texas Roadhouse invites veterans and active members of U.S. military across the country to enjoy FREE lunch 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 11. All veterans - including all active, retired, or former U.S. military - can choose one of 10 entrees from our special Veterans Day menu, including a 6-ounce sirloin and two made-from-scratch sides plus a choice of any Coca-Cola product, sweet tea/iced tea or coffee during lunch. Proof of service includes military or VA card, or discharge papers.

    Wienerschnitzel will give a free chili dog, small fries and a 20-ounce drink to veterans, those in active and reserve duty, with valid military or veteran ID card, on Nov. 11.
