FRESNO, Calif. (FOX26) — Fresno Police say a driver with a ride share company was shot during an attempted carjacking early Sunday morning.
At 3:11 AM, officers responded to the area of Shields and Valentine after receiving calls about a person being shot.
When officers arrived, they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound and started giving him first aid.
The man said he was just dropping off a customer when three people walked up to his car.
He says one of them demanded he hand over his car keys.
Shortly after, one of those three people pulled out a handgun and shot the man.
All three of those people took off from the area, and are still missing.
Fresno Police say the driver is in stable condition at Community Regional Medical Center.
