Two men shot to death at Fresno Tattoo Parlor

LIVE: Fresno Police Chief Dyer is gave an update on the Tower District double homicide that happened Saturday at the Fresh Ink Tattoo Parlor.

Chief Dyer says the suspect, Cruz Hinojosa, admitted to police he shot the victims.

Hinojosa was an employee of the tattoo parlor as were both of the male victims.

A motive has not been determined but Chief Dyer said the shooting followed some kind of "physical altercation" inside the tattoo parlor.

A third victim, an unnamed woman, was also shot at but was not wounded. She witnessed the shooting and called 911 when the shooter left.

On Saturday, July 14, 2018, at approximately 10:49 p.m. , Fresno Police received a 911 call regarding 2 victims of a shooting inside the Fresh Ink Tattoo Parlor.

Police found 35 year old Jesse Hernandez III and 30 year old Pisa Xayapheth, both had multiple gunshot wounds.

The men are employed at the Fresh Ink Tattoo Parlor and are Fresno residents.

Officers and EMS provided first aid/CPR prior to the victims being transported to Community Hospital's trauma center. Both were pronounced dead upon their arrival.

The Fresno Police Homicide Unit investigated and say 27 year old Fresno resident Cruz Pedro Hinojosa is the suspect responsible for this double homicide.

Detectives are not releasing the motive for the shooting yet.

Sunday morning, July 15th, Suspect Cruz Pedro Hinojosa, a 27 year old Fresno resident turned himself in to the Pismo Police Department.

Fresno PD homicide detectives traveled to Pismo, took custody of Hinojosa and retrieved his vehicle and other related evidence.
