A 19-year-old man has died following a crash that, Fresno Police believe, was caused by a DUI driver.

Police say a Toyota Corolla rear-ended a Jeep Cherokee just before 7:00 p.m. at Chestnut and Church in Southeast Fresno.

The impact caused the Jeep, carrying a family of four and their friend, hector Sandoval, to overturn.

    Sandoval died at the scene.

Two children in the Jeep also suffered minor injuries and were taken to CRMC.

Police say after hitting the Jeep, the Corolla spun across the center median and crashed into a Nissan Xterra.

No one inside the Xterra was hurt.

The driver of the Corolla was arrested on suspicion of DUI.
