A student was arrested for bringing a loaded ghost gun to Sanger High School on Tuesday.

According to police, two students alerted school staff that another student was seen with a gun in his waistband. A School Resource Officer then located the student and the 9mm ghost gun.

Officers searched the student’s home and found tools, guns parts, and evidence of assembling guns at his home.

This situation could have had a tragic ending, but thanks to the two students who chose the “see something, say something” response, no one was hurt,” said Chief Garner.
