Missing 87-year-old man from Clovis found in Watsonville

Gerald Haney was found safe after being reported missing from Clovis.

UPDATE: Feb. 14, 2018: A Silver Alert has been canceled after an at-risk missing man was found in Watsonville.

Clovis police say 87-year-old Gerald Haney was found Wednesday around 9:15 a.m. by the Watsonville Police Department.

Gerald is in good health and will be reunited with his family on Wednesday.


Clovis police have issued a Silver Alert for an 87-year-old at-risk missing man.

Gerald Haney is currently missing from his home in Clovis near Armstrong and Bullard.

He was last seen at 4:45 a.m. Tuesday driving a red Toyota Camry with a license plate of 5WGB569.

Police say Gerald could possibly be heading to the Los Angeles or San Bernardino areas.

With the assistance of the California Highway Patrol, a Silver Alert was issued for Fresno, Kings, Tulare, Kern, and Los Angeles counties. Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Gerald Haney is asked to call the Clovis Police Department at 559-324-2800.
