Sequel to 'Top Gun' being filmed at Naval Air Station Lemoore
LEMOORE, Calif. (FOX26 NEWS) —
According to the Navy, filming has begun for the sequel to 'Top Gun' at Naval Air Station Lemoore.
Commander Ron Flanders says although there is now official name yet for the film, shooting has already begun. The Navy says they have shot on an aircraft carrier and another base so far. It says aerial combat scenes will include their Naval Air Station Pilots and they will be flying the F-18 E/F Super Hornet and the new F-35 Strike Fighter.
