Police say man was masturbating when he crashed in Fresno

FRESNO Calif, (KMPH) — Police say a man crashed into two cars Monday morning because he was... distracted.

They say 31-year old Asbed Vassilian pulled his pants down while driving and started to masturbate in the area of W. Herndon Ave. and N. Riverside Dr. in Northwest Fresno.

It happened around 10:15 a.m. near the Marketplace at El Paseo shopping center.

They say Vassilian got out of the car following the crash and walked away from the scene of the accident.

A Fresno County sheriff's deputy detained Vassilian after he located him at a nearby Dickeys BBQ.

No one was injured in the incident.

Fresno police and ambulance arrived and Vassilian was taken to the hospital to be checked out.
