Police looking for 3 people connected to shooting of an 18-year-old in Central Fresno
CENTRAL FRESNO, Calif. (FOX26 NEWS) —
The Fresno Police Department is now looking for three people connected to the shooting of an 18-year-old in Central Fresno.
Police say they around 1:30 p.m. Wednesday they received several calls of a shooting victim laying down on the sidewalk of Belmont Avenue near Highway 41.
When officers arrived they discovered the 18-year-old man was shot in the back and in the leg. He was taken to CRMC with serious injuries but is expected to survive.
According to police, a grey car pulled up to the 18-year-old and his friend, a man got out and started shooting at them. Police say there were two women in the car, one was driving and one was a passenger. Officers are currently looking for the shooter and those two women.
