More than $23.5 million worth of stolen merchandise has been recovered since a taskforce was created to combat the rise in retail crimes.

The Organized Retail Crime Task Force was started in 2019 by the CHP, since then they’ve made 515 arrests, and have recovered 199,801 stolen items.
