Man dies at hospital following rollover crash in Clovis

UPDATE: January 29, 2019 - The Fresno County Coroner's Office has identified the victim as 72-year-old Gregory Labiak of Clovis.

UPDATE: January 28, 11:05 a.m.

The California Highway Patrol says a man died at the hospital following a rollover crash in Clovis.

CHP says the man's car was hit directly on the driver's door by another car, causing it to roll over onto the roof.

The man had to be cut out of the car by the fire department, CHP says.

The man was taken to the hospital where he later died, CHP says.


A man was taken to the hospital with major injures after a crash Monday morning.

It happened just before 10:00 a.m. Monday in the area of Clovis Avenue between Ashlan Avenue and Gettysburg Avenue.

Clovis Avenue was closed for an investigation into the crash.
