Tulare murder suspect named Top 10 Most Wanted

UPDATE: Friday, June 1, 2018 - The Tulare County Sheriff's Office has identified the suspect in Wednesday's homicide.

38-year-old Gerardo Vivanco Lopez is accused of shooting Adam Hernandez multiple times.


Hernandez died a short time later at the hospital.

Detectives served multiple search warrants at residences in the Tulare area in connection to this murder but have been unable to locate Lopez.

Lopez is considered armed and dangerous.

Lopez may be driving a white 2005 Chevrolet Van with the license plate 8Y31854.

UPDATE: A homicide investigation is underway after deputies say a man was shot and killed.

It happened Wednesday around 8:30 a.m. in the area of Avenue 228 at Road 140 east of the City of Tulare.

When deputies arrived at the scene, they found paramedics performing CPR on Adam Hernandez.

Hernandez was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Investigators say, Hernandez and his son were sitting inside a pick-up when they got out and an argument began with someone outside the truck.

That is when someone pulled out a gun and shot Hernandez.
