Man eats live black widow spider to get a job

Fresno, Calif. (KMPH) — Fox 26 sent a crew to the Hobb's Grove annual Halloween ghoul hiring event.

Daniel Roberts showed us his special skill of playing with live black widow spiders and eating them.

The event was almost too hard to watch as Roberts let the large female spider walk along his arms and then in and out of his mouth.

Even other auditioning spooks watched in disbelief and cringed when he actually ate the spider alive.

Roberts tells Fox 26 he has been bitten twice and now carries special pills in case he is again.
