Man arrested in connection to shooting at River Park Shopping Center in Fresno

FRESNO, Calif. (FOX26) — A man is in custody, accused of shooting another man multiple times in the parking lot near Ruth's Chris in River Park Shopping Center.

Police say 24-year-old Amoni Joseph Riley shot a 24-year-old man on the night of Feb. 28th.

The man was treated at CRMC and survived the attack.

Detectives from the Fresno Police Department’s Felony Assault Unit immediately opened an investigation through statements and surveillance footage identified Riley as the shooter.

Detectives located Riley in the Sacramento area on the morning of March 15th.

He was taken into custody and is being returned to Fresno where he will be booked into the Fresno County Jail and charged with attempted homicide.

His bail is $500,000.
