When disasters strike, The Salvation Army is there, providing emergency assistance to survivors and first responders. The Salvation Army is ready to serve those in need and, with your support, we can stay on the frontlines of any crisis.

Category four Hurricane Michael made landfall Wednesday, packing winds with category five status. It was the most powerful hurricane on record to hit Florida's Panhandle, and residents are returning home to find a lot of destruction.

Many roofs were ripped off of homes, and debris widespread.
