Head-on crash caused by DUI driver, Fresno Police say
FRESNO, Calif. (KMPH) —
One person is in a hospital and another is in jail after a head-on crash in Southwest Fresno.
It happened before 6 p.m. at California and Inyo.
Police say one the drivers was in and out of consciousness.
He was taken to Community Regional Medical Center, where he is listed in serious but stable condition.
Police say he was traveling west.
Another driver had been traveling east on California, but swerved into the lane of the car traveling west.
The driver who went into oncoming traffic has been arrested for felony DUI.
He was also found to be driving on a suspended license.
