FRESNO, Calif. (FOX26) — A man was taken to the hospital with a gunshot wound to the arm on Friday.
Police were called to an apartment complex on Church Ave. at Elm just after 12:45 p.m. for the report of a gunshot victim.
When they arrived they found a man in his 30s who had been shot once in the forearm.

The victim was treated at the scene and transported to the hospital and is expected to be okay.
Police are talking to witnesses who say the shooting happened in a common area of the complex.
The motive for the shooting is not known at this time and it's unknown if the victim knew the shooter.
Police are looking for surveillance video and they are conversing the area for evidence.
