Fresno Football Club introduces new coach

New Fresno Football Club coach, Adam Smith

The Fresno Football Club held a news conference on Thursday to announce the coach for the new club.

General Manager Frank Yallop introduced Adam Smith as the team's first coach.

Adam Smith previously served as the top assistant at Sacramento Republic FC,

Prior to Sacramento, Smith served as the Portland Timbers goalkeeping coach for two seasons from 2010-11 when Portland joined MLS. In 2012, Smith transitioned to serve as the academy director and goalkeeping director.

Smith is joined in Fresno by his wife and two children and will begin his role as head coach effective immediately.
