Fresno deputies ask for help identifying man found dead next to freeway

Deputies say he appears to match the description of a homeless man who was a regular visitor of the McDonald’s restaurants located at First St. / Nees Ave. and Blackstone Ave. / Bullard Ave.

The Fresno County Sheriff Coroner’s Office needs help to identifying a man who was found dead on May 24, 2018.

He was found in the bushes near the off-ramp at Highway 41 and Herndon Ave. in Fresno.

Fingerprints have been taken, but results were negative.

Deputies say he appears to match the description of a homeless man who was a regular visitor of the McDonald’s restaurants located at First St. / Nees Ave. and Blackstone Ave. / Bullard Ave.

Once staff at the Coroner’s Office is able to positively identify the deceased man, they can begin the process of tracking down his family members to allow for a proper burial.
