Lockdown lifted at Fresno Chaffee Zoo
FRESNO, Calif. (FOX26) —
UPDATE: A father and son got into fight around 11:00 a.m. Monday and the father said the 22-year-old son grabbed a shotgun and left the house.
The father called police and told them what happened.
He also let the zoo know because his son works in the kitchen at the zoo.
The zoo made the decision to close for safety reasons.
People that were already at the zoo were told to stay, including many school groups.
The man was not found to be at the zoo and it has since reopened after Fresno police gave the all-clear.
