UPDATE 5/19 7:25 A.M.: The fire has burned almost 13 square miles and is 40% surrounded.
UPDATE 5/18 10:00 P.M.: The fire is now more than 5,000 acres and 20% surrounded. Firefighters say 15 to 20 structures are threatened.
A fire burning in Fresno County since Thursday afternoon has burned over 4,000 acres.
As of Thursday evening at 8:00 P.M. the so-called 'Elm Fire' is only 10% surrounded.
Evacuations are being ordered form Parkefield Grade Road.
Earlier in the afternoon this fire was said to be 'wind-driven and moving fast.'
