Father & son accused of ''modern day cattle rustling''
TULARE, Calif. (FOX26) —
A Tulare County grand jury handed down a 27 count indictment against a father and son from Exeter.
62-year-old Bruce Greer and his son, 37-year-old Justin Greer, grand theft of cattle and embezzlement in excess of $1 million.
The indictment says the father embezzled from the company he worked from between 2012 and 2017 and his son stole cattle from multiple victims in multiple states from 2015 to 2017.
The indictment also says the father was involved the the theft of the cattle.
The crimes are described as "modern day cattle rustling."
The two men will be back in court on Monday, June 4th.
