A Woodville man was arrested by Tulare County deputies after they say he threatened to "shoot up the school."

Deputies were called to Woodville Elementary School on Wednesday after a witness said they heard a parent make the threat.

The parent was identified as 37-year-old Casey Crisler.

Deputies learned the threat had been made within the past month but determined it to be credible.

Deputies contacted Mr. Crisler in Porterville and placed him into custody.

The Tulare County Sheriff’s Office has a zero tolerance for any threats of violence against schools.
