Deputies say armed robber dropped his gun, victim shoots him in the leg
FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (FOX26) —
UPDATE: The wounded suspect, who deputies say is 22-year-old Dion Loftis, was actually shot three times.
Loftis was hit twice in the buttocks, and once in the calf.
He was taken into custody and to the hospital for surgery.

Fresno County sheriff's deputies were called to the scene of a shooting on Thursday.
When deputies got to the scene near Floral Ave. and Jameson Ave. southwest of Fresno, they found a man on the ground suffering from a gunshot wound, and other men holding him down.
Two of the men men said the wounded man and a two other men robbed them up at gunpoint.
A contractor who hires the workers had cash on him to pay out the workers.
The gunmen robbed the contractor and two of the workers and were running to their car when one fell down and dropped his gun.
One of the victims picked up the gun and started shooting, hitting one suspect in the leg.
The other suspects left their partner in the dirt and took off and the man with the gun continued shooting at the car.
Deputies believe the car may have bullet holes on the back of the car.
