Deputies: Grandma arrested for selling meth out of home with grandkids inside


    Detectives arrested Feliza Alvarado for possession of a controlled substance for sales, maintaining a residence for narcotics use and child endangerment.

    A 55-year-old grandma was arrested for selling meth out of her home while her grandkids were still inside, the Tulare County Sheriff's Office says.

    It happened Thursday morning after detectives searched a house on S. La Fond Road in Tipton.

    According to deputies, detectives searched the home and found 46.8 grams of methamphetamine in individual packaging (totaling at 51 bindles) on 55-year-old Feliza Aguilera Alvarado.

    Detectives say they also found a scale and other items associated with drug sales

    Alvarado's three grandchildren were also living with her, deputies say.

    Detectives arrested Alvarado for possession of a controlled substance for sales, maintaining a residence for narcotics use and child endangerment.
