The California Highway Patrol is warning drivers to use alternate routes after a big rig overturned on the westbound Highway 180 transition to southbound Highway 99.
According to the CHP, the transition will be closed "for an unknown duration of time due to a traffic accident."
Officers say the truck had been hauling 80,000 lbs. of frozen seafood, when the driver turned too fast onto the Highway 99 ramp from Highway 180.
He lost control, and the big rig overturned.
The driver has minor injuries.
CHP Sgt. Edward Jacobs estimates the ramp will be closed for another 4-6 hrs.
