Big rig leaves Madera with supplies for Harvey victims
A big rig full of Harvey relief supplies left Madera on Thursday, thanks to some Valley businesses.
The truck was parked at Sierra Valley Almonds with a banner hanging on the side that said, 'Hurricane Harvey Relief on its way to Texas from Californians.'
The truck was packed with everything from clothing and diapers to Valley almonds and raisins.
Several Central Valley companies came together to make it happen.
Ronnie Singh, owner of Icon Express, said, "It's amazing to see people come together with all the controversy in the world today that everybody pitched in and it's definitely a group effort. "
Singh say they received so many donations that they are actually filling another big rig that will head to Texas next week.
