4 arrested, 11 pounds of meth seized in Fresno

Four people from Southern California are now in custody after a large meth bust in Fresno.

Police say they confiscated 11 pounds of meth during a bust near Highway 99 and Jensen in Fresno.

Officers say they found a duffel bag with the drugs inside.

They say two of the people who were arrested had five children with them, ages 6 months to 14 years, who witnessed the drugs being exchanged for money.

Those children are now in protective custody.

The two people in the SUV were Daniel Gonzalez and Silvia Ochoa. They face drug charges as well as felony child endangerment charges.

Joseph Sanchez was booked in the Fresno County Jail on multiple drug charges and Ruben Hernandez was booked on multiple felony warrants.
