Crew of 7 wanted in $30,000 Jewelry heist at Northwest Fresno store

Fresno Police are looking for a group of people who carried out a heist at a Northwest Fresno jewelry store.

Police say six women and a man went into Sohna Jewelers and Fabric Saturday around 12:30 p.m.

One of the women was carrying a child in her arms.

Surveillance video shows some of them distracted the owner, asking about fabric and other items, while one of the women went into the office and got into the safe.

The owner of the store told FOX26 News the women stole around $30,000 worth of gold.

The crew then left the store in a dark-colored Dodge Caravan.

It has damage to the driver’s side and paper license plate.

Anyone with information is urged to call 559-621-6545.
