Call of Duty Flag Football Kick-Off Game PAL Program fundraiser! The Tulare County Sheriff's NFL Flag Football League kickoff game featuring former NFL players. The game will take place at 1:00 p.m. at Groppetti Community Stadium, 1414 N. McAuliff St. in Visalia. Tickers are $8 each; children 5 years old and younger are free. Tickets are available at Headquarters front lobby, 833 S. Akers St., Visalia; Pixley Substation, 161 N. Pine St., Pixley; Porterville Substation, 379 N. 2019 Justin Run - Run For Freedom. Human Trafficking Task Force and District Attorney host the Run for Freedom 5K run and 1-mile walk at Mooney Grove Park in Visalia. Set during Human Trafficking Awareness Month, the run will benefit Family Services of Tulare County and the Central California Family Crisis Center and their support for victims. Parkinson’s Foundation Hosts Its Third Annual Parkinson’s 9 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. at the Hope Lutheran Church, 364 E Barstow Ave. in Fresno. Two American Kennel Club approved all-breed dog shows 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Fresno Fairgrounds presented by the Sun Maid Kennel Club of Fresno. Come see breeds of dogs you have never seen before as well as your favorite breeds. There is a Pee Wee handling class for children ages 5-9 (accompanied by a parent or guardian) on Saturday. (Bring a leash for your dog). Registration for Pee Wee Handling is at the show on Saturday before noon. There will be Eye, Heart and Microchip Clinics both Saturday and Sunday. Vendors selling items for dogs and their people will be on site. Bring the entire family but please leave your pets at home (unless they are there for a health clinic or Pee Wee Handling). WBC super lightweight world champion Jose Ramirez, the pride of California’s Central Valley, will take on Jose “Chon” Zepeda, 7:00 p.m. at the Save Mart Center. Ramirez will auction off his fight-worn trunks, special gloves, shirt, and shoes, with all proceeds benefiting the Community Cancer Institute in Clovis. A portion of all ticket sales will also be donated to the Community Cancer Institute.
