2018 did not disappoint.
Our American economy reached new heights, we took bold new steps towards productive, determined foreign policy, and our country came together.
We look toward 2019 with our hearts full of hope that we will see not only our country prosper, but that we grow as individuals and as Americans.
The New Year presents a unique opportunity for self-reflection and improvement. I, like many people around the globe, hope to spend this year learning something new every day and bringing more joy to those around me.
Not everyone has the same goals for the future or needs the same things. As we interact with our fellow man I ask that you empathize with one another – take time to understand those who are different from you. We all face struggles in our daily lives no matter our race, gender, religion or political ideology.
We should strive to spend 2019 loving each other just a little more than in 2018. After all, love is simply devotion to one another’s daily-to-day struggle.
I do encourage you at home to participate in the healthy practice of setting a New Year’s resolution. New Year’s resolutions exist to motivate us.
To harness the hope of a new beginning in order to leave the last year’s negatives behind and be the best that we can be in the new year.
Here’s the bottom line: This new year, I wish you success in achieving the goals you lay out for yourself. Happy New Year. I look forward to seeing you and hearing from you in 2019.
