Jim De La Vega previews Veterans Day events

Saturday, November 11, 2017 is Veterans Day.

This is a time to remember those who have served, honor those who have paid the ultimate sacrifice, and educate the public on what it means to be a veteran.

Jim De La Vega spent the morning at the Clovis Veterans Memorial District to preview some of the festivities taking place on Saturday.

There is a pancake breakfast 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Clovis Veterans Memorial District. Also, 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. there is also a car show, military displays, documentary movies and a concert by the Clovis Community Band at 11:00 a.m. $7 donation requested.

There is also a very special exhibit called Remember The Fallen, that honors the 742 Californians killed since 9/11.

Clovis Veterans Memorial District is located at 808 4th St. in Clovis.
