New electric rideshare program opens in Fresno County

FRESNO, Calif. (FOX26) — A new electric rideshare program kicked off in Fresno County on Monday, Oct. 5.

Inspiration Transportation is a public charity organization in the San Joaquin Valley helping to provide rides to underserved communities.

The rideshare program is available to residents in rural communities in the county.

The new REV-UP program (rural electric utilization project) offer $5 round trip rides in all-electric 2020 Chevy Bolts as part of a partnership with the Fresno County Rural Transit Agency (FCRTA).
