Michael previews a Graffiti Cleanup event in Fresno

FRESNO, Calif. (FOX26) — Over the summer Fresno Mayor Lee Brand launched an initiative called "Keep Fresno Beautiful."

The idea was for volunteer groups to pitch in to clean up Fresno by doing things like picking up trash and cleaning graffiti.

On Wednesday, the The World Mission Society Church of God is hosting a graffiti cleanup event in downtown Fresno.

Michael Ikahihifo spent the morning with the group to get a preview.

The group will take to the streets at 9:00 a.m.

The church is planning another event in November.
