The ground has been broken for the 2017 St. Jude Dream Home.

This year's home will be a De Young Residence 220 Smart Home located in the De Young Holland Pointe Community on De Wolf Ave. near the Reagan Educational Center in Clovis.

It is the eleventh year that De Young Properties has been the St. Jude Dream Home builder and they invited celebrity designer Michael Maloney back to create another mystery suite.

Through the partnership with De Young Properties and other sponsors, we have raised over $9.7 million over the last ten years for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, and the goal for lucky number eleven is $1.1 million.

Wendi Lane from FOX26 Great Day spent the morning at the groundbreaking ceremonies and interviewed Ashley De Young from De Young Properties, Clovis City Councilman and St. Jude Dream Home Chairman Bob Whalen, Lance Cardoza with Business Street Online, Billy Watson with G&G Construction and celebrity designer Michael Maloney.

Tickets for the St. Jude Dream Home go on sale this summer.
