Grizzlies to help Edison after theft
The Fresno Grizzlies will donate all proceeds from this Saturday night's silent auction to the Edison High School baseball team.
The program is struggling to recover after thieves cleaned out the school's baseball concession stand, taking all of the candy and other food, along with several appliances.
That includes a microwave, coffee maker, hot dog warmer and more.
In addition to cleaning-out the concession stand, thieves broke into a storage garage and took an all-terrain vehicle. The ATV is used to drag the baseball infield.
The auction table will be set up outside the Grizzlies Team Store at Chukchansi Park through the fifth inning of Saturday night's game against Sacramento.
Among the items up for bid will be baseballs autographed by Carlos Correa and Dusty Baker, along with a bat signed by Kyle Tucker.
