Grizzlies no match for Chihuahuas
The Fresno Grizzlies opened their last Pacific Coast League road trip of the season Monday night with a 10-2 loss in El Paso.
Tony Kemp drove in Fresno's only runs with a fifth inning single.
The Chihuahuas broke open a close game with a five-run rally in the bottom of the fifth, getting back-to-back home runs from Hunter Renfroe and Christian Villanueva.
The defeat cost Fresno a chance to pick up a game on first place Reno in the standings. The Grizzlies are three games behind with only seven to play.
The Aces' magic number to clinch the division championship is five.
