Grizzlies get the jump on Tacoma

Baseball's Fresno Grizzlies jumped out to an early 9-0 lead over Tacoma Thursday night and coasted to a 10-1 win over the Rainiers.

Fresno scored a run in the first inning, four in the second, and four more in the third to take that big early lead.

Astros' star Carlos Correia, in Fresno on a rehab assignment, had a two-run single. A.J. Reed had two hits for the Grizzlies.

Fresno remains two games behind first place Reno with 11 games left in the regular season.
