COS women, FCC men win in junior college hoops doubleheader

In a midweek doubleheader at Fresno City College, the COS women beat FCC, while the Ram men routed the Giants.

In a midweek meeting of junior college rivals, it was a men's and women's doubleheader between Fresno City and College of the Sequoias Wednesday night in Fresno. In a battle of Central Valley Conference undefeateds, the COS women topped FCC 83-75. Earlier in the evening, the FCC men won their 10th game in a row, 81-55.

The Giants women were led by freshman Leslie Greissen, who made eight three-pointers and scored 26 points. Sophomore Dojahnae Senegal, a Central high product, added 21 points. COS is ranked 6th in the state, while the Ram women are 15th in California.

The FCC men are also number six in the state, and also lead the CVC with an unbeaten record. The Rams were led by Tyus Millholin's 26 points, while sophomore Cole Morgan (Clovis East) added 15.
