Clovis wrestler Justin Mejia makes history, wins fourth state title
In the 45-year history of the California state wrestling tournament, only one high schooler had ever won four state titles. Until now. Clovis senior Justin Mejia became the second, when he beat Selma's Robert Garcia 3-2 in the championship match at 126 lbs.
Saturday inside Bakersfield's Rabobank Arena, Mejia said after, "it's amazing. I worked a long time for this, and it's finally here. Harder than anything than I've ever done."
