Aces deal tough loss to Fresno Grizzlies

The Fresno Grizzlies missed a chance to move into a first place tie with Reno Tuesday night, losing their Pacific Coast League series finale, 3-1.

Grizzlies' starting pitcher Mike Hauschild went five scoreless innings and left the game with a 1-0 lead.

But the Fresno bullpen could not hold it.

Reno's Zach Borenstein gave the Aces the lead for good in the seventh inning with his 21st homer of the season, a two run shot.

Fresno drops two games behind first place Reno with 12 games left in the regular season.

Eight of the Grizzlies' 12 remaining games are on the road.
