Chainsaws recalled due to serious injuries
(FOX26) - According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission, about one million chainsaws have been recalled due to a serious injury hazard.
Harbor Freight Tools has received 15 reports of chainsaws continuing to operate after being turned off, resulting in three injuries including one serious injury to the arm requiring stitches.
The report advises people to stop using the recalled chainsaws immediately and return the product to their local Harbor Freight Tools store for a free replacement chainsaw. Replacement units will be available starting May 21, 2018.
