Visalia Police Chief announces arrest of 2 people involved with 3 recent homicides

Visalia Police Chief Jason Salazar held a news conference to announce the arrest of two suspects in connection with three homicides in Visalia.

Noel Herrera and Fabio Delreal were arrested and charged with homicide and gun crimes.

Noel Herrera was charged with 3 homicides, 1 attempted homicide, and other gang-related crimes.

Fabio Delreal was charged with 1 gang-related homicide.

Both men were already in prison on gun possession charges.

Crimes Noel Herrera and Fabio Delreal are accused of:

On January 9, 2010 Diego Lupercio (26) was shot and killed in a gang-related shooting in the area of Giddings and Elowin. Suspect Noel Herrera has been arrested and charged for this case.

On April 24, 2014 Larry Knight III (25) was shot and killed in a gang-related shooting while walking in the area of Linwood St. and Tulare Ave. Suspect Noel Herrera was identified as the shooter in this case and Suspect Fabio Delreal was identified as the driver. Both suspects have been arrested and charged for this case.

On February 15, 2017 two victims were in the area of Feemster and Watson when shots were fired at them from a vehicle. Suspect Noel Herrera has been identified as being one of the suspects in this case. The victims were not injured. Suspect Noel Herrera has been arrested and charged for this case.

On February 18, 2017 Eduardo Ceballos and another victim were standing in front of a residence in the 1700 block of N. Leslie. A vehicle stopped in front of the residence and one of the occupants of the vehicle fired a gun at the victims and fled. Victim Eduardo Ceballos died from gunshots he received. The other victim survived his injuries. Suspect Noel Herrera has been identified as being one of the suspects involved in this gang-related shooting. He has been arrested and charged for this case.

On February 19, 2017, Violent Crimes Detectives were notified that CHP Officers had arrested Noel Herrera during a traffic stop. A firearm was located in his possession which was later determined to be the weapon used to shoot at the two victims on February 15, 2017 as well as to murder Victim Eduardo Ceballos on February 18, 2017. The vehicle Suspect Herrera was driving also matched the suspect vehicle in these two cases as well.
